Nonino Grappa and Distillates had a great success at Vinexpo 2013.
“A Whisky that has reached Paradise” this is the way “Riserva Nonino” was defined by the experts who were present at the exhibition in a country like France that gives birth to Cognac and Armagnac, but where the undisputed consumption leader is Single Malt Whisky.
“We couldn’t receive a better compliment” especially this year when we are celebrating Forty years since our family created Grappa Monovitigno®, Picolit, which revolutionized the history of Grappa in Italy and brought our Grappa to compete with the most prestigious international distillates.
The favorite ones? Grappa Riserva AnticaCuvèe® aged from 4 to 18 years in Limousin and ex-Sherry barriques, wonderful in its Imperial version that highlights its amber color, and ÙE® La Riserva dei Cent’anni, aged 14 years in barriques!
Everybody was charmed by the elegance and richness of the intense, sensual and persistent bouquets.
Great success was achieved also by GIOIELLO® Nonino Honey Distillate the world’s only honey distillate in purity, created by the Nonino sisters in April 2000! The perfect coupling is with cheese, which French people like very much, soft cheese, white rind cheese, pressed and uncooked cheese, and hard cheese. Formidable!!!
