The Chorus Manos Blancas at the Concert for the Fifty years of the Policlinico Gemelli in Rome

A great emotion last Monday, July 7th, at the concert “Gemelli Insieme” – conducted by Nicola Piovani and presented by Milly Carlucci – which closed the celebrations for the Fifty years of the Policlinico Agostino Gemelli in Rome, for Antonella and Giannola Nonino, who saw the performance of the Chorus Manos Blancas of Friuli, established and supported by the Nonino Family since 2010.

The Chorus Manos Blancas of Friuli, born upon solicitation of Maestro Claudio Abbado and still today the only one in Italy, is composed by disabled children who perform wearing white gloves on their hands, and it is part of the System of Youth Orchestras and Choruses of Italy – Presided by Paolo Grassi – that is starting, also in our Country, the extraordinary opportunity of educating through music a greater and greater number of children, in particular among those who live in situations of cultural, economic, physical and social uneasiness.
