Cocktail
Tomodachi
Mixologist Charles Schumann, Schumann’s Bar – Munich
The legend Charles Schumann creates a cocktail that represents a refined encounter between Italy and Japan. The Tomodachi (友達), meaning “friend” in Japanese, is born from the embrace of Grappa Nonino Riserva AnticaCuvée® 5 Years, Amaro Nonino Quintessentia®, sake, and amber vermouth. The Grappa adds depth and notes of vanilla and dried fruit, balanced by the silkiness of the sake, while the vermouth contributes a sweet‑bitter hint, made even more complex by a few dashes of Amaro Nonino Quintessentia®.
