Giannola Nonino wins the 2025 Artusi Prize

Giannola, our mother, received the prestigious 2025 Artusi Prize — an award that celebrates her, our father Benito, and our family: “The values recognized by UNESCO for Italian cuisine are the same that have always guided us.”
Thanks to the talent and determination of our parents, Grappa has become an excellence of Made in Italy, a symbol of quality and territoriality, bringing with it the protection of authentic flavors, the value of the family and its traditions. This achievement further enhances the Revolution of Grappa, which, thanks to the creation of Monovitigno® Nonino, has become the Queen of Spirits. All this was possible by “transforming distillation into a cultural project,” bringing tradition into the future with passion and courage, and encapsulating in every phial “protection of knowledge, the role of the family, the defense of the territory as a cultural heritage… the links that connect the Friulian distillery to the Artusian tradition.”
Let us toast the Artusi Prize, Italian Cuisine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and, above all, our mother, whose enthusiasm transformed her life’s work into a great passion.
