Thank you Vidia! You will always be part of the great Family of the Nonino Prize

Vidia Naipaul, Nobel Laureate for per Literature 2001 and since 1998 a member and then the President of the Jury of the Nonino Prize, which he had received in 1993, died in London.
He always followed Italian cultural life with great interest; for the Nonino Family and for the members of the Jury his role was a fundamental element for the international reputation of independence of the Prize and for us, individually, his warm and very present friendship.
We will remember him forever and we are close to Nadira and Maleeha.
Giannola, Benito, Antonella, Cristina, Elisabetta and all the members of the Jury, composed by Adonis, John Banville, Ulderico Bernardi, Peter Brook, Luca Cendali, Antonio R. Damasio, Emmanuel Le Roy Ladurie, James Lovelock, Claudio Magris, Norman Manea and Edgar Morin.
