University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo at Nonino Distilleries

19 students coming from Australia, Belgium, South Korea, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Germany, Japan, Italy, Nigeria, USA, South Africa and Thailand who attend the Master in Food Culture and Communications of the University of Gastronomic Science of Pollenzo, founded by Carlo Petrini, have recently visited the Nonino Distilleries, the didactic center of the first Italian University of Gastronomic Science. After the visit to the distillery, the students were accompanied by Antonella Nonino through a guided tasting to analyze thoroughly the art of distillation and the Nonino distillates and toasted with “The Legendary Grappa”, Grappa Cru Monovitigno® Picolit, in the extraordinary coupling with San Daniele raw ham 24 months and fig mostarda.
