“Amore Mio” Pizza Dessert by Antonio Ferraro with Grappa Nonino Vendemmia Riserva di Annata®
Antonio Ferraro this year wins the first prize Pizza Classica SpigAmica® at the Pizza World Championship. The multi-awarded Antonio works since 1989 at Pizzeria Al Lampione in Gorizia, in Friuli, where you can taste his Pizza with Rosa di Gorizia, rare red chicory from this area and Nonino Risit d’Aur Prize 2012, and the fabulous Pizza Dessert “Amore Mio”, created with hazelnut cream enriched with Grappa Nonino Vendemmia Riserva di Annata® aged 18 months in barriques. With double edge decorations and star arranged wafers made with melted sugar coated pizza dough and brushed with Pistachio cream and finally sprinkled with chopped hazelnuts, pistachio, cacao and icing sugar.
