Barcelona Cocktail Festival – Panel “Women in Hospitality”
It was a great honor to take part in this panel alongside Ines de Los Santos and Julie Reiner: a valuable opportunity to dive into the world of bars and its evolution, also bringing the perspective of a producer.
At the Barcelona Cocktail Festival, Antonella spoke at a session dedicated to the role of women in mixology, now leading a new language of contemporary drinking—one shaped by creativity, sensitivity, teamwork, and a broader vision of the cocktail as a cultural experience.
Increasingly focused on sustainability, this new generation prioritizes local ingredients, waste reduction, and responsible techniques. In this context, Grappa Nonino—an outstanding example of circular economy—finds a new expression: a spirit that, through mixology, connects with new generations and tells the story of Italian excellence.
The discussion, moderated by Margherita de Los Santos, also highlighted the value of conviviality in an increasingly virtual world.
It was meaningful to find a common thread across all shared experiences: curiosity, daily commitment, and the desire to improve—values also passed down through family example.
Finally, it was an important opportunity to introduce Monovitigno® Grappa and Amaro Nonino, and to invite more and more professionals to be “brave” with Grappa: their enthusiasm during tastings rewards every effort in the pursuit of quality.
