lo Chardonnay Aged 12 months in barriques





Natural ageing in barriques in the Nonino cellars, under seal and permanent surveillance by the Customs and Monopoly Agency. Bottled without color additives.
I Vigneti Monovitigno® are obtained by distilling pomace from a single grape variety which is linked to more dedicated production zones.
  • Primary Product:

    Fresh pomace of Chardonnay grapes from dedicated production zones.

  • Artisanal Distillation:

    Discontinuous with head and tail cutting, in copper steam stills.

  • Natural Aging:

    12 months in barriques. 0% color additives.

  • Alcohol Content:

    41% vol.

  • Bottling:

    Bottle in transparent glass 100, 350, 700 and 2000 ml. Manual for the 6300 ml capacity.

  • Tasting:

    The varieties in barrique should be served at room temperature in a wide balloon shaped glass.

  • Taste Sentation:

    Refined and elegant. Notes of chocolate and newly shelled almonds.

Primary Product

The pomace, collected when it is fresh and soft, is selected from Chardonnay grapes from dedicated production zones.

Production strictly dependent on the individual year’s harvest.


Under vacuum in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperature, immediately
followed by distillation in order to avoid harmful secondary fermentations.

Natural aging

12 months in barriques in the Nonino Ageing Cellars, under seal and permanent surveillance by the State and Monopoly Agency.

100% Distilled with artisanal method

Batch method with head and tail removal, in particular and exclusive copper steam stills renewed by Benito Nonino. Distillation takes place very slowly to allow the volatile components, responsible of the fragrances, a proper evaporation and the consequent condensation preserving the precious organoleptic characteristics of vine variety chosen.


Slightly amber for the rest in barrique. Refined and elegant, it recalls the scent of bread, vanilla and pastry. In the mouth a scent of chocolate and just shelled almonds.
It should be served at about 12°C or in an icy open tulip shaped glass. Before tasting, Grappa should rest in the glass for some minutes: taking oxygen the fragrances are exalted and the nose-palate harmony is completed.

3 ÙE® Monovitigno® 100 ml

Decorate with a lemon peel



Created by Gianni Albanese of the Ritz Hotel in London. The scent of pastry and just shelled almonds of Grappa Monovitigno® Chardonnay in barriques matches smartly with limoncello and amaretto.


Decorate with candied ginger


Nonino Ginger

Created by the Russian mixologist Dmitry Ananiev, this thirst quenching and slightly spicy cocktail will conquer you.

Decorate with 3 Fabbri cherries and a hint of essential orange oil.
