Grappa Nonino Riserva Aged 20 Years Sherry Cask is obtained from grappa aged over 20 years in the small oak Sherry cask from Jerez de la Frontera nr. 348. The aging, under seal and permanent surveillance by the Customs and Monopoly Agency started on July 29, 2002. On August 3, 2022, 177  anhydrous liters were drawn from the small cask, equal to 252 numbered bottles 700 ml.

    It should be served at room temperature in a wide balloon type glass.

    Elegant and evolved with an aromatic depth that recalls sweet spices,yellow flowers like broom and iris, candied citrus fruit, and scent ofvanilla. On the palate it is sumptuous, with great persistence, rich infruity returns, balsamic notes, raisins and honey.

1st extraction (Sold Out) 1st extraction from the small oak Sherry cask from Jerez de la Frontera nr. 166. The beginning of the aging of this extremely rare reserve starts on April 14, 2001 and finishes on July 6, 2021, the date when 465 anhydrous liters are extracted from the barrique, for a total of 664 bottles 700 ml.

2nd extraction 2nd extraction from the small oak Sherry cask from Jerez de la Frontera nr. 348. The beginning of the aging of this extremely rare reserve starts on July 29, 2002 and finishes on August 3, 2022, the date when 77 anhydrous liters are extracted from the barrique, for a total of255 bottles 700 ml.

Selected pomace of white and red grapes from Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Fermentation


Under vacuum in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, immediately followed by distillation to avoid harmful secondary fermentations.

Natural aging


Aged naturally for aver 20 years in the small oak Sherry cask from Jerez de la Frontera nr. 348.

Sensations
